# User-related Insights

We provide valuable insights into your audience by analyzing their location, device type, and visitor status (new vs. returning). This data is available on the left-hand side of the Real-Time Dashboard.

### **Location**

The location filter shows which countries your visitors are coming from.

This helps you understand where most of your traffic is coming from so you can create content or campaigns tailored to specific regions. It also helps identify new opportunities for growth or areas where your website may not be performing well.

### **Device**

The device filter shows whether visitors are using a mobile phone, desktop computer, or tablet.

This information helps you ensure your website works well across all devices. If a large percentage of users are on mobile, but engagement is low, there may be issues with how your site appears or functions on smaller screens.

### **Visitor Type**

This filter distinguishes between:

* **New Visitors** – Users visiting your website for the first time.
* **Returning Visitors** – Users who have previously visited your website.

Tracking this can help you understand if your website is attracting fresh audiences or keeping existing users engaged. If most of your traffic comes from returning users, you may need to focus on reaching new audiences. If new visitors aren’t coming back, you might need to improve content, navigation, or user experience to keep them engaged.
